Vtg. Stratton Compact England Compact.

This is a mid-century powdered compact made in England. This was specially engraved with the words “love” in a circular pattern on the front of the compact and encircling the letter “L”. The mirror is intact and the powder buff that was in the compact has deteriorated with age. There are some minor scratches due to age. This is a beautiful collectible item or give it as a gift to that someone who loves vintage make-up accessories. If you like to use now, just clean the inside and replace with new powder and powder buff. This compact was bought at a real estate sale. Family was very wealthy and traveled all over the world. This compact was specifically engrave from the husband to his wife. A wonderful tribute of love and affection.
