Wanted something that would not let me fly off the back end of hubby's for Harley, it does the trick, however we had to install longer bolts, we got the bolts from local hardware store.2. I have a 1998 Sportster 1200, the chrome bolts stick out against the black frame but its not too bad. Over all I am pleased with the product.3. It fit my 2000 Sportster XLH 1200, I believe the leather back rest a little small but all good.4. I had to modify mounting bracket bolt holes which would not line up to motorcycle fender bolts and the sissy bar was leaning back too far.5. The holes lined up perfectly but I had to buy longer bolts otherwise the seat looks very nice on my 883 Sportster. My wife is very happy she doesn't feel like she's going to fall off anymore.6. Bought two and installed them on a 99 XL1200c and a 08 XL883C, both perfectly fit.7. It fits my 95 Sportster 1200 custom. I'm very happy with it.8. I bought this for my 1983 for Suzuki GS650GL. It ended up working perfectly. The bolt pattern lined up and only needed to stretch it slightly to fit and had to get two longer bolts and spacers for the rear bolts.
