Old Windows XP Laptop

This is a Balance Digital Technologies laptop, model A535. It's a budget laptop from 2005, but in pretty good shape for what it is. Some cracks exist in the LCD bezel. Battery is dead flat, it doesn't hold a blip. The rest of the system works great.

Specs include an AMD Athlon 4 1.1GHz processor, 640 MB of RAM, and a 20 GB hard drive. It has Windows XP Home installed with all hardware drivers. Comes with charger.

I reworked the loose hinges, replaced the BIOS battery and applied fresh thermal paste to this laptop. Though there is WiFi 802.11b, that is not compatible with modern networks, so pretend this sentence isn't here. You're better off using Ethernet or else an external adapter.

In any case, an XP computer is hardly ideal for going online. But what is is ideal for is really old apps that can't run on newer computers! For that, this will fit the bill.
