It is functional. The breaks work, the right break stops both tires and the left brake slowly decreases the speed. The gears are functional but there are some problem with the gear on the right handle. The two grips in the handles are missing which doesn’t mess up anything just makes the handle get cold a lot faster. Besides that it’s just a regular bike which is fast with adjustable gears. I’m not sure what it’s made it but my guess is aluminum
