This wooden pen is handcrafted with care by my father, who has been selling lumber (specializing in Zelkova) for many years, after learning in a workshop as a hobby. This product is made by a craft artisan who applies genuine Urushi lacquer to the beautiful wood grain of domestic natural wood selected by a wood expert. The appeal of the Urushi lacquer finish is that it gains luster and depth with age. Urushi lacquer is resistant to scratches, sweat, and water, and has excellent water resistance.
I am still learning about writing instruments, but I choose wood (grain) with certainty.
