Each piece comes signed on the bottom by Jerry Brown, a 10th generation folk artist from Hamilton Alabama. Dated pieces as well. Highly sought after artist. These pieces are made in the 80s and both are completely unique, not a reproduction. Traditionally face jugs would be left on graves to scare away bad spirits. I have two I'm willing to part with. An extra 100 off if you buy them together. Pieces this size usually sell for 600 each. Own a piece of southern folk art history. No visible chips, cracks. One piece has an inconsistent glazing that is normal with handmade pottery (is shown in picture). DVD case shown for scale. Both have handles and have been carefully cared for and displayed in smoke free/animal free home
