Freedom The Underground Railroad 2018

In the early history of the United States, slavery was an unchanging and unquestionable institution, but through the efforts of brave men and women across the country, the institution was overthrown. Freedom: The Underground Railroad is a cooperative game for one to four players, whose goal is to end slavery in the United States. Players build a network of abolitionist movements by combining cards featuring well-known figures and events from American history from the early days of independence to the Civil War. Players will have to find the right balance between freeing slaves from plantations in the South and raising the funds they desperately need to finance their group's activities, as well as to work to abolish the death penalty and gain the support of the population. Only through careful planning and teamwork can the group ultimately achieve victory!
