The Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 “Wheat” is one of several colorways of the retro running shoe designed by the hip-hop star. Once thought to be a Friends & Family exclusive colorway, the “Wheat” was given a proper retail release in May 2022. The colorway joins the “Baroque Brown” and “Saturn Gold” Air Max 1s by Travis in featuring a modified look with rugged, outdoors-inspired details. Specifically, the upper is complete with tan or “Wheat” colored nubuck overlays stitched on top of a cream-colored mesh base. Travis’s signature reverse Swoosh branding appears on both sides of the shoe. Nylon straps with geometric patterns can be found on the collar and heel. Dual “Nike” and “Cactus Jack” branding appears on the back of the left and right shoe, respectively. Durable blue rope laces with speckle detailing give the shoe an outdoors vibe.
