Get Polyurethane Cutting Edges for your skid steer or tractor plows and get the best performance and price-to-performance ratio around. This poly cutting edge is formulated for superior abrasion resistance and strong physical characteristics such as tensile strength, tear resistance, elongation rebound and chemical resistance. Ignite offers blank poly cutting edges in additional sizes including 72 inches, 96 inches and 120 inches.

Please note, Ignite's Polyurethane edges are very easy to cut and drill (using your existing edge as a template) with standard power tools to fit most blades/pushers. All cutting edges will include mounting instructions.

High-visibility yellow ensures great visibility and indicates high-wear durability.

Polyurethane offers better abrasion characteristics than rubber or metal. Plus, polyurethane protects the surface under the snow from scratches encountered when using metal edges.

Polyurethane is resilient. It absorbs impact and conforms to the surface being plowed. So, its a great option for brick, pavers, cobblestone or any other uneven surfaces.

Polyurethane minimizes blade and equipment vibration, so its easier on the operator.

Polyurethane edges are quieter, making them the ideal early morning or late-night option for residential neighborhoods.

For commercial applications, we recommend using 1-½-inch thick cutting edges.

For longest life, use skid shoes with attachment (sold separately)

Plowing speeds over 35 mph are not recommended.

How It Works

As the equipment moves forward, the polyurethane cutting edge scrapes snow, ice, gravel and more along uneven surfaces. The cutting edge will flex slightly and conform to surface contours, ensuring clean results when clearing snow and other debris.

When mounting a new cutting edge, use the original edge as a template for cutting to length and drilling the mounting holes.

Once a new edge is installed, raise casters and back drag on wet pavement for about 50 yards. This will wear in an angle of attack and reduce chatter on initial use.
