1991 Poem To Brother Matted & Framed Completed Cross-stitch Art 15.5"X15.5"X1"
This lovely cross-stitched poem is a declaration of love to one's brother. The poem describes life with a brother through various seasons of growth and is appropriately accompanied by a cross-stitched border of an apple tree from the beginning blossoms through the green leaves of spring followed by the putting on of deep red fruit and then the brown leaves of fall. It eventually ends in the bare branches of winter. The piece is a completed needle-work & is signed BH 91. The fabric is matted with pink & green double matting & framed in a simple fluted medium brown stained wooden frame. The framing was done professionally by "The Frame Up" in Oxford, MS. The piece is preowned with typical use. No flaws noted from the front, but on the back there is some tearing of the paper backing. The picture hangs by wire stretched between eye hooks. Approx. 15.5"X15.5"X1".
