Beautiful JFK coin, 1979 in XF Condition!
Reverse has the error:
On traditional / normal JFK half dollars coins, The “FG” on the Kennedy half dollar stands for Frank Gasparro, who designed the reverse (back or “tail's side”) of the coin. Since Gasparro designed the reverse of the Kennedy half dollar, that's where you'll find his FG initials.
This coin is missing the “F” in the “FG” location on the back. This is a minting stamp error! I zoomed in at 900mm and couldn’t even see if the F was rubbed out or worn, it’s just not even there!
